About us
  1. When does New Amber Collection launch its new collections ?
    We introduce new designs successively, piece by piece. Our website catalogue (www.nac.pl) is updated with our new designs on a regular basis. Please, visit our website often to see what’s new.
  2. Is there a possibility to start cooperation with you as your representative ? What are the conditions I have to meet ?
    We will give a detailed information about it after receiving a direct enquiry. Please contact us about it via e-mail nac@nac.pl. Thank you.
  3. I would like to use the photos of the pieces in your collection posted on your website. How can I download them ?
    The photographs of our collection in the catalogue are copyrighted and can be published only on our website. Using the photographs in other publications, e.g.: on other websites, would require an additional fee paid to the author for extending the scope in which the photos can be used. If you are interested in obtaining extended access to the photographs, please mail us at nac@nac.pl

    Yes. Please send your enquiry via email and we will inform you where and at what fairs we will be showing our collection in the near future.
About amber
  1. Is this genuine amber ?
    Yes, we sell is genuine amber. Our company cuts amber in a way similar to the cut in which precious stones - for example diamonds, emeralds or rubies - are finished. We hold a certificate of the International Amber Association. We are a company recommended by the Association.
  2. How do you make cut amber ?
    Not every piece of raw amber is suitable for cutting into facets. Already at the initial stage of production, we conduct a thorough screening of our raw material. Amber cutting is a unique technology because amber is a fragile material and it is not as hard as precious stones. Therefore, it is not possible to employ the commonly known technologies used for precious stone cutting. Amber cutting is a challenge. The way in which we precisely cut our amber clumps is our company’s secret.
  3. Is this molten amber ?
    No, this is not molten amber. Amber facets are made thanks to appropriate cutting and polishing techniques, to provide an appropriate shape.
  4. Can I order from you only amber stones ?
    No, there’s no such option.
Order fulfillment
  1. How do I place an order with you?
    Please place your orders through our website www.nac.pl. We also invite you to visit our office at 26 Nobla Street in Gdańsk. We will also be pleased to show you our current collection at our stand during jewellery fairs. Please, e-mail us for information about the nearest jewellery fairs where we will present with our collection.
  2. Are prices quoted in EUR or USD subject to change ?
    Yes, the EUR and USD prices depend on the current rate of exchange. This means they can change from day to day. The foreign currency price used for order payment and settlement will be the price as at the order placement date.
  3. Why can’t I select the option of less than 2 or 3 or 5 pieces, for example, when placing an order for some items ?
    We are a manufacturer of jewellery and we do not deliver retail orders. We accept orders for single items of a specific design in the case of gold jewellery or, in the case of silver jewellery, in the case of necklaces or bracelets. For other items in the collection the required minimum order quantity, depending on the design, will be 2, 3 or 5 items. For each design shown on the website, there is a minimum order quantity.
  4. What does the product price depend on, if the item’s description gives the price information for a 17-size ring, for example ?
    Our prices for gold rings are quoted for a specific size. If you order smaller or larger sizes, we will change the price proportionately to the size, i.e. the price will be reduced or increased accordingly. For the purpose of ordering, we agree on the price as for the size specified in the example given. The price will be adjusted and the final price will be determined at the point of issuing the invoice.
  5. What is the minimum order value ?
    The minimum order value is PLN 4000, EUR 900 or USD 1200.
  6. Those are final prices ?
    The prices on our website are quoted net of VAT. For Polish customers and for EU customers without an European VAT identification number, 22% tax on goods and services shall be added to the net price. In compliance with the existing law, all sales other than the are not subject to tax, i.e. net prices will apply.
  7. What is the order execution time ?
    The order execution time depends on a number of factors, among them the size of the order. As a standard, we use 4- to 5-week execution time. During the time we will stay in touch with you - by e-mail or telephone - to let you know in case of a delivery date being re-scheduled for independent reasons.
  8. What courier firm will handle the shipment of products ?
    The products will be sent to you by a courier service of your choice, at your cost. Most often our customers select UPS, however you can select any courier company you wish. For security reasons and because of the option of parcel tracking, we do not recommend to you the services of the national Polish operator (Poczta Polska).
  9. Is the parcel insured ?
    Courier companies do not offer insurance for jewellery shipments. On request, shipment insurance can be purchased with an insurance company. If you are interested, contact us about insurance.
  10. Can I make a retail purchase ?
    We do not sell retail. The only exception to this rule are jewellery trade fairs Amberif and Ambermart held in Gdańsk, when the general public can buy individual pieces during ‘open days’.
  11. Do I have to pay anything up front when placing my order ?
    Yes, for new customers who wish to place an order, we would require an upfront payment of an advance of 30% of the order’s value. This will be calculated towards the total order payment.
  12. Can I order from you silver jewellery in the design which in your website catalogue is shown as gold jewellery ?
    No, there’s no such option.
Our jewellery
  1. What does the price depend on if the item’s description gives information on the maximum “up to" price ?
    For some designs The price of an item depends on the size of the amber stone. The information about the maximum price, provided in the item’s description, means that the price of the design shown will not exceed the maximum price. The price may be adjusted downwards, depending on the size of the stone. We determine our prices on the basis of the criteria of labour and material inputs.
  2. Can I make the purchase directly with you, without placing an order ?
    Yes, business customers in the jewellery trade can buy jewellery directly from our stock. Please, contact us by e-mail at nac@nac.pl if you wish to do so. When buying directly from our warehouse, you do not have to conform to minimum order quantities. However, you have to keep in mind that not all the designs from our collection can be available for direct purchase at a specific moment.
  3. Is your silver jewellery rhodium-treated ?
    We apply rhodium treatment at request. Each silver design is listed on our website in two versions: rhodium-treated or untreated. Please, select the option you are interested in. Some elements of the item may remain untreated, e.g.: silicone earring clasps. We do not apply rhodium treatment to those parts of jewellery pieces which contain components other than silver.
  4. Why is jewellery with facet cut amber more expensive than traditional amber jewellery designs ?
    Facet cut amber requires a careful selection of raw amber pieces. After the cutting process, a lot of amber becomes production waste. Cutting and polishing requires a lot of work. Most of work is done manually. Conversely, during the traditional amber processing, machines are often employed. There’s little production waste and there is no need for such stringent selection of raw amber as there is when choosing stones for cutting. To sum up, the manufacturing of facet cut amber jewellery requires more time and labour.
  5. What is the purity of gold in the jewellery offered by New Amber Collection ?
    Our jewellery is made of 14K gold (585). On request, we may deliver pieces made of gold of a higher purity.
  6. What are the parameters of diamonds used in your amber and diamond collection ?
    For our amber and diamond jewellery we use diamonds graded at least VS2 on the clarity scale and color scale G-H
  7. Do I receive a certificate for the jewellery I have bought ?
    Yes, we attach a certificate to each piece of our jewellery.
  8. How should amber jewellery be looked after ?
    The rules of appropriate care: - take off the jewellery before going to sleep - do not wear it while exercising or playing sports - do not spray the metal or stones with perfume - store the jewellery in cotton bags - clean amber stones very gently, using only a dry cotton cloth. Amber is a very soft and delicate stone, therefore excessively strong rubbing may cause the sharp edges to soften. - you can clean the metal parts of your jewellery using jewellery cleaning agents but you must be careful not to allow any contact of the cleaning preparation with amber. The chemicals in the cleaning solution may cause damage to the stone. - be careful not to drop amber jewellery pieces, since an impact caused by a fall may result in a breakage in the stone.
  9. Do you make jewellery to order, according to a design provided to you ?
    No. We do not make jewellery to order according to a design provided to us. Our collection consists only of the pieces of jewellery that have been designed by our company.
  10. How can I receive a copy of your jewellery catalogue ?
    Our jewellery catalogue is available only on our website www.nac.pl. We do not offer a printed version or a CD.
  11. Can I select a piece of a different colour than the one shown in the product photo ?
    Yes. Each product can be ordered in the range of colours listed in the product description. Please mark the correct option when placing your order. If there is no choice of colours for a specific product, this means that the piece is available in one colour option only, i.e. the option shown in the photo.
